For Pastors
You don't have to carry this alone anymore.
If you are a pastor struggling with pornography, compulsive sexual behavior, or another process addiction, this page exists for you. Not for your board. Not for your congregation. For you.
Ministry is one of the loneliest places on earth to have a secret.
You spend your life helping other people be honest while your own honesty feels impossible. The stakes are different for you. Confessing what a layperson confesses could cost you your calling, your income, your housing, and your community in a single conversation. So you manage it alone, and the isolation feeds the very thing you are fighting.
Drew knows, because that was his life for years. He was the pastor with the secret. He knows what it costs to hide and what it cost when hiding stopped working. He also knows something you may not believe yet: the collapse you are afraid of is not the only way this story can go.
What PSAP training means for you
Drew is a Pastoral Sex Addiction Professional, credentialed through the same institute that trains certified sex addiction therapists. That matters for two reasons.
First, it means the conversation is clinically informed. Process addiction is not a willpower problem or a prayer deficiency. It is a real condition with real treatment paths, and Drew is trained to understand it: the neuroscience, the shame cycles, the intimacy disorders underneath, and what actually helps.
Second, it means the conversation is pastorally fluent. You will not have to explain what ordination means, why you cannot just tell your elders, or how theology and shame got tangled together in your story. Drew has lived inside the world you live in.
What confidential means here
The form below goes directly to Drew and no one else. Not to a church, not to a staff member, not to a denomination. What you share stays between you and him. Drew is not a mandated report line or a denominational office. He is a person in long term recovery who is trained for exactly this conversation.
A first conversation carries no obligation and sets nothing in motion. It is a place to say true things out loud, some of them maybe for the first time, and to hear what paths exist: counseling, treatment through programs like Valiant Living, recovery community, and ways forward that do not begin with public exposure.
If you are not the pastor, but you love one
Spouses, friends, and colleagues are welcome to reach out too. Betrayal trauma is real, and your healing matters as much as his. Drew can help you find support and think through next steps with care for everyone involved.
The thing you think disqualifies you is usually the doorway to the life you actually want.
